What we won't promise

If a site breaks or asks you to turn your ad blocker off, click the adblock z icon and choose Pause on this site. You can turn it back on just as easily.
Questions
Is adblock z really free?
Yes. The free version blocks ads, trackers and pop-ups with no time limit and no ads of its own. Premium, when it arrives, is optional.
Which browsers does it work in?
adblock z is available for Microsoft Edge from Edge Add-ons. It's built on the same extension system Chrome uses, so it may come to other browsers later.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. adblock z doesn't collect your browsing data in the first place, so there's nothing to sell. Your settings stay on your device. The privacy policy has the details.
Why does the install screen say "Block content on any page"?
That's how your browser describes permission to block ads on websites, which is the extension's whole job. It doesn't let adblock z read what's on those pages. Every permission is explained here.
A website broke. What do I do?
Click the adblock z icon in your toolbar and choose Pause on this site. adblock z stops blocking there and remembers your choice. If you think we're blocking something we shouldn't, email us and we'll take a look.
I still see an ad. Why?
Some ads come from the same place as the page itself, or change too often for any list to catch them all. You can write your own rule to block it, or email us the site so we can improve the built-in lists.
Do you have an "acceptable ads" program?
No. Nobody can pay to get their ads through adblock z.
